Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support and evolve our data, planning, and analytics ecosystem. This role will work across Microsoft D365, Azure data platforms and Supply and Demand planning software (Kinaxis Maestro) to maintain and deliver reliable data pipelines, resolve system issues, and support business reporting and analytics.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, strong critical thinker, and hands-on problem solver who can reverse engineer existing processes and code, identify root causes, and continuously improve system reliability and performance. Familiarity with supply chain operations and planning concepts is essential.

  • Design, support, and enhance data pipelines and integrations using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and related Azure services
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, incidents, and data quality issues across planning, reporting, and integration workflows
  • Support and enhance integrations, data flows, and analytical use cases
  • Develop and maintain SQL, Python, and Scala code for data transformation, validation, and analytics
  • Build and support Power BI datasets, semantic models, and reports for supply chain and operations stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business partners to refine user stories and technical requirements, translating business needs into scalable solutions
  • Actively participate in team workflows including backlog grooming, sprint execution and demonstration
  • Perform root-cause analysis by reverse engineering existing code, pipelines, and undocumented processes
  • Recommend and implement improvements to data modeling, performance, monitoring, and reliability
  • Document systems, data flows, and operational procedures to improve maintainability and knowledge sharing

What you will bring to the team:

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and cloud-based data architectures
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python (Scala experience also preferred)
  • Experience with Power BI, including data modeling and performance optimization
  • Experience supporting production data pipelines and troubleshooting complex issues
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize work, and navigate ambiguity
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience working with Kinaxis Maestro (or similar supply chain planning systems)
  • Exposure to enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
  • Prior experience supporting business critical operational systems
